Tennis court, Ann Li wins her opening match in Monterrey

Tennis: Ann Li opens Monterrey in 65 minutes

Li through in 65 minutes

Ann Li beat Camila Osorio 6-1, 6-2 overnight in the first round of the Abierto GNP Seguros in Monterrey. The fifth seed needed 65 minutes and converted six of her 12 break points.

Osorio handed her plenty of them. The Colombian served nine double faults and won only four of her 22 second-serve points. Osorio reached the final in Monterrey in 2022, which makes the scoreline read harder than her history at this event.
