4.5 million dollars for half a goalkeeper
Orlando Gill is on his way out of San Lorenzo. TyC Sports reported the agreement with LOSC earlier today, and Foot Mercato had it on Sunday morning as well.
The Argentine outlet puts the fee at $4.5 million, roughly 3.8 million euros. That only covers 50% of the Paraguayan’s economic rights. San Lorenzo hold onto the rest and take the cash now.
It has taken a while. Lille were first linked with him on 20 August.

The player forced it through
Monza got there first with a bid San Lorenzo were willing to hear. Gill said no.
He then went to his own club and asked them to take Lille’s offer instead. TyC Sports credit him directly with unblocking the deal, which is not how these things usually go in Argentina, where clubs tend to decide when and where a player leaves.
The rest was settled inside the last few hours.
A window that will not sit still in the north
Lille have been busy. Marius Broholm went out on loan to Utrecht on 20 August, and the Matias Fernandez-Pardo file is still open with Leipzig hovering.
Angers visit on Sunday at 3pm. Gill will not be involved, because the club have not announced anything yet.
