Muratalla makes it look routine
Raymond Muratalla never let Robson Conceição settle. From the opening bell in Las Vegas, the Fontana lightweight worked behind a sharp jab, stalked his man around the ring, and turned an IBF title fight into a one-way session.
The champion banked the early rounds and kept building. Open scoring read 40-36, 39-37, 39-37 after four. By the eighth, all three judges had it 79-73. Conceição found no answer and slipped into survival mode.

A statement in the championship rounds
Most fighters coast on a lead that size. Muratalla did the opposite. He leaned on the jab through the tenth, then opened up in the eleventh, backing Conceição across the canvas with clean combinations.
The final cards told the story: 119-109, 119-109, 118-110. Muratalla moves to 25-0 with 17 knockouts and keeps the belt on his second defense. Conceição, a former world champion, falls to 21-4-1.
Where he goes from here
Talk at ringside turned quickly to a move up to 140 pounds. At 25-0, Muratalla has cleared out the lightweights in front of him and now wants a bigger name across the ring.
