Valentín Barco

V. Barco represents Strasbourg in the Ligue 1, one of the most competitive divisions in world football. Originally from 25 de Mayo, Argentina, this Argentina international has steadily made his way to the top level. As a midfielder, his 170 cm height and 66 kg weight provide a real physical presence on the pitch. A complete midfielder, he is equally comfortable winning the ball back and launching attacks with precision. His arrival at Brighton in 2024 for € 9.2M was a statement of intent from a club with serious ambitions. The silverware in his career — notably Liga Profesional Argentina, Super Copa, Copa Argentina — confirms his ability to perform in the biggest moments. As 2025/2026 unfolds, he continues to deliver performances that justify his place in Strasbourg's squad. V. Barco continues to write his story in professional football, one performance at a time.
