Season and playoff numbers 
Scottie Barnes has wrapped up his playoff run with the Raptors, and the reporters wanted his take on it. He wasnt in the mood to hand over a polished self-assessment. Barnes said he only cared about winning out there. Head coach Darko Rajakovic backed that up, pointing to the technical strides his player has made.
The numbers tell the story. During the regular season, Scottie Barnes played 33 minutes per game. He averaged 18,1 points, along with 7,5 rebounds, 5,9 assists and 1,5 blocks. In the playoffs, his minutes jumped to 39. His scoring climbed to 24,1 points per game. He shot 51 % from the field and 38 % from beyond the arc. His assist total rose to 8,6 per game.
RJ Barrett’s comments
RJ Barrett broke down what he saw from his teammate. The pair finished the series with the same points total. Barrett reckons Scottie Barnes is one of the best players in the league. He singled out how efficient he is around the rim.
This team usually has several guys who can score. Immanuel Quickley’s absence changed that setup. Barnes took more shots during that stretch. Barrett says his teammate adjusts his game to fit what the group needs.
