Pisa – Lecce: survival hangs by a thread
The Tuscan club is quite literally fighting for its life in Italy’s top flight. Lecce arrive with one mission: protect their own place in the division. A defeat would mathematically seal the hosts’ relegation. This has the feel of a brutal night for two sides backed into a corner.
The Tuscan ordeal
Relegation is staring the Nerazzurri in the face. The late collapse at Parma shredded the last scraps of realistic hope. The numbers are grim. Five straight defeats have left a shell of a team. Across that run, the home attack has managed just one goal. Coach Oscar Hiljemark has found no answers since taking over in February. The home record is ugly too, with only two wins in 17 matches. Beating Lecce would merely delay the inevitable return to Serie B.
Lecce‘s fragile fate
Eusebio Di Francesco’s side are in a far healthier spot. Survival is still in their own hands. The hard-earned draw against Hellas Verona kept a sliver of daylight between them and the bottom three. But Lecce’s form raises plenty of questions. They have picked up only two points from their last six league games. The attack is the biggest worry for the staff. Just 10 goals have come from open play since the start of the season. The lack of a proper goalscorer is hurting them badly. In the reverse fixture, Lecce edged it thanks to Nikola Stulic. Doing that again would calm a club under pressure heading into the run-in.
Probable line-ups

Football prediction Pisa vs Lecce
Draw or Pisa win
The hosts’ desperation will drag every last drop out of them. The home crowd in Tuscany may be the only thing keeping this side going as they stare over the edge.
Lecce’s blunt attack should keep the visitors’ threat in check. The scoreboard points to a draw, or maybe one final show of pride from the hosts before the drop.

First, a note on our predictions
- What we publish on mathodds is analysis, nothing more. It’s an opinion, a read on the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport is what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a goal out of nowhere… and the script changes completely.
- Let’s be clear: there is no risk-free bet. Even when something looks obvious, it never truly is. And yes, that means you can lose. In fact, you will, sooner or later.
- The best approach is to stay sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Do not touch money you need to live on. And above all, do not chase losses. That usually ends badly.
- A bet should stay a game, not a job or a source of income. If you feel it’s taking over your day, if it’s irritating you or putting you under pressure, take a break. And if needed, speak to a specialist organisation. That’s what they’re there for.
- At the end of the day, the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and will never disappear, even with the best analysis in the world.
- Essential reminder: betting is illegal for minors and must comply with the law in your country. Gambling can spiral fast (money losses, family tension, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No commitment from us
Our predictions are not a contract. They have no legal force. Plainly put: you cannot use them to claim anything if a bet goes wrong.
Information changes
A prediction always depends on what we know at the time it is written. But in the meantime, a line-up changes, a player gets injured, the weather turns ugly… and the analysis can quickly be out of date. We cannot be held responsible for that.
Your role
Before you bet, just make sure wagering is legal where you are. If it is not, that is your responsibility, not ours.
