Matchday 30 served up tense drama on Sunday. At Anfield, Liverpool looked set for a priceless win before collapsing in the dying seconds to Tottenham. Meanwhile, Manchester United landed a big blow, beating Aston Villa in a straight fight for the top end of the table.
A day that reshuffles plenty of cards, both in the race for Europe and the battle to stay up.

Richarlison pops up at the death at Anfield
Liverpool had done the hard work. Dominant for long spells, the Reds took the lead with a brilliant free-kick from Dominik Szoboszlai in the 18th minute.

Bolstered by that strike, the Merseyside outfit controlled the match for long stretches. Cody Gakpo thought he’d made it two before half-time, only for Guglielmo Vicario to push his shot onto the post.
Still, Tottenham never went away. Richarlison kept popping up, forcing Alisson into a string of sharp saves.
And then, when Liverpool thought the three points were safe, the Brazilian striker found a route through. On 90 minutes he ghosted into the box, levelled up and nicked a hugely unlikely point for the Spurs.
A priceless goal for Tottenham, but it doesn’t paper over the cracks. The Londoners remain 16th in the table.
Liverpool squander a golden chance
For Liverpool the result leaves a sour taste.
The Reds had a real chance to close in on the top three but come away with just one point. Despite a mostly solid performance, Arne Slot’s side lacked the cutting edge to finish the job.
The draw leaves Liverpool sitting fifth, and a proper opportunity to creep up on the top three has gone up in smoke.
Manchester United hit big against Aston Villa
Over at Old Trafford, Manchester United took a crucial scalp against Aston Villa.
This clash between third and fourth was settled after the break. Casemiro put United ahead before Ross Barkley pulled Villa level.
The Red Devils then turned the screw in the final 15. Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Šeško sealed the deal, handing United a 3-1 win.

A big three points that puts United three clear of Aston Villa in the table.
Tight draws at the bottom
In other afternoon fixtures, Nottingham Forest and Fulham cancelled each other out in a 0-0.
That point is enough to pull Forest temporarily out of the drop zone and up to 17th.
At Crystal Palace versus Leeds it was also goalless. The Eagles couldn’t make the sending-off of Gudmundsson just before the break count.
A tight day, fitting for a Premier League where every point counts more than ever.
