A low-risk contract
The Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed a deal with wing Dalen Terry, according to a report from The New York Times relayed by HoopsHype on Tuesday afternoon. The contract runs two years and is non-guaranteed, and the second season is a team option.
That structure matters. Oklahoma City commits no guaranteed money at this stage and keeps full control over whether Terry is still on the roster next season. The Times attributed the information to a league source who was not authorised to speak publicly.

Why the Thunder need bodies
The signing arrives while the team’s depth is being tested. Alex Caruso is travelling with the team after an ankle sprain that is not believed to be serious, but even with Caruso in the fold, the Thunder expect to lean on unproven younger players for significant minutes.
Oklahoma City has had a bumpy start to the campaign. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 43 points, his first 40-point game of the season, in a 117-112 win over Cleveland that snapped a two-game slide in which the Thunder had been blown out twice.
Terry gives the coaching staff another wing to use as the rotation sorts itself out.
