NBA: Kobe Flawless Logoman auto sells for a record $4.2M

The most expensive solo Kobe card ever

A 2017 Flawless Kobe Bryant Logoman autograph sold on Sunday for $4.2 million. That is a new record for a solo Kobe card, according to collectibles reporter Adam Gray, who said both the seller, Secure, and the buyer, an Instagram user going by Pokecolor6666_, confirmed the figure.

The price also makes it the second-highest ever paid for a Flawless card. It sits in a PSA 9/10 slab, the patch on it is game-used, and the card was produced a couple of years after Bryant’s retirement.

Why Flawless Logomans command this money

Gray noted that some collectors consider the Flawless Logoman autographs among the most beautiful cards ever made, and that prices for them have followed that reputation. This copy has one imperfection by the usual standards: the Logoman is slightly cut off at the top. Even so, Gray described it as one of the greatest solo Kobe cards in many collectors’ eyes.
