Rain ends the tournament at 54 holes
The Butterfield Bermuda Championship will be decided by a play-off. The PGA Tour scrapped Sunday’s final round because of bad weather, leaving Seamus Power and Austin Smotherman tied at 16 under after three rounds, two shots clear of a chasing pack that included Taylor Moore, Corey Conners and Ben Silverman.
Officials had looked at finishing the event on Monday, but the forecast pointed to more rain and heavy wind, so the Tour called it. This is the first PGA Tour event in two years to finish after 54 holes, following the 2024 Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The play-off is set for Monday, weather permitting, with a 60 percent chance of rain and winds of 15 to 20 mph in the outlook. Start times in the Tour’s announcement and in other reports did not match, so the official schedule is the one to check.
Power is chasing a third PGA Tour title. He won his first in the United States in a play-off against JT Poston at the 2021 ISCO Championship, and he carded a 64 in round two and a 67 in round three here. Smotherman is making his first PGA Tour play-off appearance. He already has the Bank of Utah Championship from his previous start, and he shot 65, 66 and 66 in his three rounds.
