Paolo Banchero filled the box score (24 points, a ridiculous 13/16 from the line, 11 assists — but beware the 9 turnovers), Tristan da Silva chipped in 19 and 6 rebounds, Desmond Bane had 17 and 7 assists. The team paid for brutal outside shooting, missing 26 of 36 threes. The good news: Orlando usually defends well (13th in efficiency, allowing 114.4 points). Against the gaping defensive lanes Washington leaves, the Magic’s offense should wake up fast.
