Sure, when Trae Young returns that figure should rise, but he’s not back yet. Defensively they’re brutal: 122.3 points allowed per game, second-worst in the NBA. This is a young rebuild that’s showing flashes, not a finished product.

Los Angeles Lakers: react after a huge loss 
The Lakers were mauled by the Cavaliers 99-129 in a game that felt more like a LeBron tribute than a basketball contest, and it was also marred by an injury to Luka Doncic, who is now questionable for this one. Before that collapse they’d beaten the Mavericks 116-110 and the Bulls 129-118, with Luka and LeBron putting in decent shifts.
Make no mistake: even on the road, the Lakers are heavy favorites. Their season numbers might not jump off the page, but they’re fighting for playoff position in the West and they’re facing a team stuck in the cellar. If L.A. brings even a middling performance, this should be theirs.
