To make matters worse the injury list is overflowing (Demko, Forbort, Chytil, Lekkerimaki, Joseph). Evander Kane, who was replaced by rookie Curtis Douglas last game, should return.
Nashville have no room for error 
Post-break form has been shaky in Tennessee — three wins and four losses. Still, Andrew Brunette’s team just grabbed a big boost with a 4-2 road win in Seattle. The result leaves them clinging to 11th in the West, a single point shy of the playoff spots. Win tonight and they’re guaranteed to slide into the top 10. Stakes: enormous.
Their fatal flaw is travel. They’ve lost 7 of their last 9 away from home. The attack still chips in roughly two goals a night, but the defense falls apart on the road, conceding 3.48 on average. On the personnel front, defenseman Adam Wilsby remains out but should be back by the end of the week. Young Reed Schaefer slid into the fourth line in place of Ozzy Wiesblatt in the last game.
