Strasbourg – PSG: Meinau will be boiling, Paris under pressure 
Sunday night Paris Saint-Germain head to the Meinau with one clear aim: stay top of Ligue 1, no matter what. It won’t be easy — Strasbourg are buzzing, riding fresh momentum and realistically gunning for European football.

Strasbourg have a new look. Since Gary O’Neil took over they’ve been moving fast. Three wins in a row across competitions, 12 goals scored and just three conceded — that’s a clear snap to life.
Last week’s 4-1 hammering of Lille shoved the club up a level. Result: seventh place and firmly back in the European hunt.
With one match to go before matchday 20, Strasbourg sit one point behind Rennes for a Conference League spot and two behind Lille, who currently hold the Europa League play-off place. A win this weekend would be their longest winning run in Ligue 1 this season and their third straight home league win of 2025-2026.
Under O’Neil they score a lot and often. They’ve found the net in seven of their last eight matches, usually hitting at least twice. Meinau is loud again, and Strasbourg have already troubled PSG there several times.
The Alsace side have taken points in three of their last four home meetings with Paris, including a 2-1 win here last season. That memory is still fresh.
PSG: leaders again, but the margin is tiny 
Paris are back on top, but nothing’s settled. A narrow 1-0 win over Auxerre, combined with Marseille beating Lens, put Luis Enrique’s men back in front — and they’ve got a two-point lead, that’s all.
Form looks solid: five straight league wins, unbeaten in Ligue 1 this season when they score first, and two clean sheets in the last two rounds.
On the road they’re improving. Two away wins on the bounce and they’ll be looking for a third straight away victory — a first this season.
Warning though: PSG have already dropped six points after scoring first this season, four of those away. Still, February is kind to them: ten Ligue 1 matches in a row without defeat in this month, nine wins and only one loss — that was at Monaco in 2023.
History against Strasbourg is heavily in PSG’s favor: one defeat in the last 17 meetings across all competitions, and three wins in the last four league clashes.
