Sacramento Kings – Washington Wizards: 14th-place scrap
The Kings host the Wizards in a match between two of the league’s worst this season. With 21 wins between them, neither club is chasing much beyond developing youngsters and, frankly, losing enough to improve their lottery odds in June. Still, Sacramento’s momentum is oddly positive. Expect a tasty, high-scoring game.
Sacramento Kings: Connect 4?
The Kings are in one of their best stretches this year, riding a three-game winning streak. What’s catching the eye isn’t just wins, it’s who they’ve beaten: Lakers, Rockets, Knicks — teams actually aiming for a title. Over that run Sacramento’s scoring around 118 points a night. Their offence is humming, led by the LaVine–DeRozan combo.
Defense has been leaky all season (120,7 points allowed, fifth-worst in the league). But the home form lately looks better. In the wins over title contenders they never gave up more than 112 points. Against one of the league’s weakest attacks — 112,6 points per game in 2025-26 — they should keep things under control.
Washington Wizards: racking up experience
The Wizards have lost four straight, all by 14 points or more. To make matters worse they’ll be without two starters: Bilal Coulibaly and Khris Middleton. That handicaps an offence already near the bottom (25th, 112,6 ppg) and a defense that’s a disaster (29th, 123,9 ppg). Expect both units to struggle even more.
Washington can go completely missing for long stretches. Against another cellar team, this could be the perfect chance to snap the slide — except the Kings are in the best form they’ve had all season. Still, youngsters like Kyshawn George and Tre Johnson will get minutes and chances in what should be an open game.
NBA pick Sacramento Kings vs Washington Wizards
Over 230,5 points
Both teams are porous on defense and neither has pressure from the standings. That screams uptempo. Lots of possessions, quick shots, and hunting offensive rebounds. The offensive profiles on both sides (DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine for the Kings; Kyshawn George and Alex Sarr for the Wizards) are enough to push the total over. Everything points to an open, high-scoring game.

First, a word about our picks
- What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, nothing more. It’s an opinion — a snapshot of what we see — not a promise. Sport is messy. A red card, an injury, a freak moment… and the story flips.
- Let’s be blunt: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks “obvious”, it often isn’t. Yes, you can lose. You will, at some point.
- Best practice: be reasonable. Bet small, set a budget, stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live. And don’t chase losses — it never ends well.
- Betting should stay a game, not a job or income source. If it’s taking over your life, stressing you out or annoying you, take a break. And if needed, talk to a specialist. That’s what they’re there for.
- Ultimately, the responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and it won’t vanish, even with the best analysis.
- Important reminder: betting is forbidden to minors and must follow your country’s laws. Gambling can spiral (losses, family tension, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
