PSG – Tottenham: European champions clash at the Parc des Princes
The Parc des Princes hosts a first-time Champions League meeting between two European champions this Wednesday. PSG welcome Tottenham for a match that promises fireworks, a repeat of the Super Cup this summer — won on penalties by Paris.
PSG want to erase the slip against Bayern
Just before the international break, PSG suffered their first European stutter of the season, beaten 2-1 at home by Bayern Munich. Even with a man advantage for the whole second half, Luis Enrique’s men couldn’t turn it around, only managing to pull one back with a late Joao Neves strike.
That defeat hasn’t really slowed Paris’ push for qualification. They’re still sitting near the top and in a healthy position heading into matchday five.
In the league, PSG reacted as they often do: two wins in a row, including a tidy, no-drama 3-0 at Le Havre on Saturday. The club still leads Ligue 1, even if they look a touch less dominant in Europe than last season.
Tottenham need a reaction after the derby
At Tottenham, morale is shakier. On Sunday, fans left the Emirates long before the final whistle — the 4-1 defeat to Arsenal hurt. Eberechi Eze ripped in a historic hat-trick and exposed the holes in Thomas Frank’s defensive plan.
The Danish coach will have to rewrite his notes before facing Paris, especially against an opponent that punishes the smallest technical error.
Still, in the Champions League the Spurs are unbeaten: two draws, two wins and generally solid displays. They’ve kept clean sheets regularly in the competition. Their two away games, though, ended in draws. And this summer they already crossed paths with PSG, losing on penalties in the Super Cup.
Football Prediction PSG vs Tottenham
Over 2.5 goals
Both teams like to play forward, and the defensive lapses seen this weekend could open the game up. PSG remain favourites at home, even if they’re a bit short, and chances should come thick and fast.
Before anything, a word about our predictions
- What we publish on Mathodds are analyses, nothing more. We share an opinion, a snapshot of the moment, but never a guarantee. Sport is what it is: unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak goal from nowhere… and the script flips completely.
- Let’s be clear: there’s no risk-free bet. Even when it looks “obvious”, it isn’t. And yes, that means you can lose. It will happen sooner or later.
- Best approach: be sensible. Stake small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — it rarely ends well.
- Betting should stay a game, not a job or a source of income. If it starts taking over your life, annoys you or puts you under pressure, take a break. If needed, speak to a specialist organisation. That’s what they’re for.
- Ultimately, the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means accepting the risk exists and it won’t disappear, even with the best analysis in the world.
- Essential reminder: betting is forbidden to minors and must comply with your country’s laws. Gambling can spiral quickly (losing money, family tensions, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No commitment from us
Our predictions aren’t a contract. They carry no legal weight. Plain: you can’t rely on them to claim anything if a bet doesn’t come in.
Info that can change
A tip is always based on what we know when we write it. But lineups (like PSG’s) change, a player gets injured, the weather turns… and the analysis can be outdated fast. We can’t be held responsible for that.
Your role
Before betting, simply check that gambling is legal where you live. If it isn’t, that’s your responsibility, not ours.

We can’t say it enough: gamble in moderation. If you struggle to keep control, don’t wait to seek help. We can’t be responsible for compulsive or excessive use of the info published on the site.
