PSG – AS Monaco: Paris must finish the job 
Paris Saint-Germain host Monaco on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes with one simple aim: seal qualification for the last 16. Having won 3-2 in the first leg after coming from behind, PSG head into the return with a precious edge. Used to deep European runs, the capital club can reach the last 16 for a 14th straight season. Monaco haven’t been this far since 2017.

PSG have avoided defeat in eight of their last nine matches at the Parc, and their last two home games ended in a combined 8-0.
Against Monaco the confidence is total: no recent losses at home and a firm handle on knockout ties. With that European know-how, Paris knows how to manage a night where a draw does the job.
AS Monaco: a near-impossible task 
Monaco arrive in a familiar, desperate spot: they must win to stay in the tie. Their recent Champions League form is worrying. The club from the principality has been knocked out in each of its last three two-legged ties and they’ve been poor on the road this season, shipping 12 goals in four European away games.
Yes, the 3-2 win over Lens at the weekend showed fight. But beating PSG at the Parc is another level. Monaco haven’t won there since 2016. To pull off an upset they’ll need an early goal and to take risks — which could leave deadly gaps.
