Dallas are in a strange spot. Comfortable in 2nd in the West (97 points, 245 for, 198 against), yet they look worrying. They’re on a nasty four-game losing streak; their only recent win was a last-minute shootout escape vs Colorado (2-1).
The biggest sting was a 6-4 reverse to New Jersey where the defence simply imploded. The slight upside: three of those four losses were by just one goal, which shows they’re still competitive. But the cold fact remains: like Pittsburgh, Dallas hasn’t won in regulation in seven straight games.
