Oklahoma City Thunder – Indiana Pacers: rematch of the 2025 NBA Finals
The Thunder and Pacers meet again for the second chapter of that 2025 Finals rematch — and probably their last clash this season. After a season-opening classic, expect this one to be calmer, with fewer late-game fireworks.
Oklahoma City Thunder: keep rolling at the top
The Thunder have hit cruise control: seven wins in their last eight and they’re sitting pretty at the top of the league. OKC plays the same, efficient brand of basketball — defense first, then punish teams in transition — as shown in wins over Milwaukee (122-102) and Cleveland (136-104). Last season’s script still works: force turnovers, sprint downcourt for easy points, and do it again until the game’s done.
Mark Daigneault’s group look dominant against most opponents (Spurs aside), and the numbers back it up: best offense in the league (121.4 PPG) and best defense (only 107.8 allowed). When their threes are falling, they become impossible to live with.
INJURY REPORT : Alex Caruso (OUT) – Isaiah Hartenstein (OUT) – Jalen Williams (OUT) – Ajay Mitchell (OUT) – Nikola Topic (OUT) – Jaylin Williams (questionnable) – Aaron Wiggins (questionnable)
Indiana Pacers: can Tyrese Haliburton pull off a miracle?
This Pacers team is a long way from the squad that reached the Finals, or the loose early-season unit that pushed the champs into double overtime. Indiana have won just ten of 45 games so far — injuries hurt, sure, but the roster also can’t find consistent shooting.
That adds up to one of the league’s worst attacks: just 109.9 points per game, the second-worst mark this season. Defensively they try, but they still concede 118.3 on average, which makes beating deeper, cleaner teams a tall order night after night.
INJURY REPORT : Bennedict Mathurin (OUT) – Obi Toppin (OUT) – Quenton Jackson (questionnable)
NBA Prediction Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers
Pacers to score under 105.5 points
Over their last three games the Pacers have averaged 95.3 points. The Thunder boast the league’s best defense, and even with a few regulars missing they have a stack of role players who can step in and make life difficult for opponents. Playing away with the crowd against them, a low-scoring night for the Pacers looks likely. Expect OKC to win comfortably at home, adding another strong defensive performance to their ledger.

A quick word on our predictions
- What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, not a guarantee. It’s our take on the moment, nothing more. Sport is unpredictable: a red card, a sudden injury, an out-of-nowhere shot — the story can flip in an instant.
- Let’s be clear: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks “obvious,” it still isn’t. Yes, that means you can lose. It will happen at some point.
- Be sensible. Stake small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — it almost always ends badly.
- Betting should be a pastime, not a job or a steady income. If it starts to take over your life, if it makes you anxious or stressed, take a break. If you need help, reach out to a specialist organisation. That’s what they’re there for.
- At the end of the day, responsibility is yours. Reading our content means you accept the risk exists and won’t disappear even with the best analysis.
- Important reminder: betting is prohibited for minors and must follow your local laws. Gambling can spiral (financial loss, family strain, addiction). Need help? Player Info Service: 09 74 75 13 13 (non-premium rate) https://www.gambleaware.org/.

Info can change fast
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. Between publishing and game time a lineup can change, a player can get hurt, conditions can shift… and the analysis can become out of date. We can’t be held responsible for those changes.
