New York Knicks – Sacramento Kings: time for revenge

The Knicks and Kings meet for the second and final time this season, two weeks on from Sacramento’s surprise win. The Knicks will have extra bite tonight — they’re better on paper and have something to prove.

New York Knicks: keep it rolling at home

The Knicks have their spirits back with their first back-to-back wins of 2026. Before that, Mike Brown’s men had been outscored in eight of ten games — miles off the standard they want to set this season. Since then they’ve tightened up and won the right way: a demolition of the Nets (120-66) and a gritty beatdown of a playoff rival, the 76ers (112-109).

New York wants payback after losing in California (101-112). Helpfully, they’re at Madison Square Garden (17-6 this season) and Brown has his whole squad available — a luxury few teams enjoy this late in the year. Even with recent hiccups, the Knicks still rate: 8th best offense (117.8) and 10th best defense (113.7). This one’s a must-win if they want to keep pace with the Raptors.

INJURY REPORT :

Sacramento Kings: rough road trip continues

Fans enjoyed a four-game hot streak to start the year, but Doug Christie’s side has slid back to form thanks to a thin roster and a nasty schedule. Sacramento are deep into a tough Eastern road trip and already counting two of a five-game losing run. After losses to Cleveland (118-123) and Detroit (116-139), they head to MSG, then face a brutal back-to-back against the Sixers and Celtics. No one’s signing up for that.

Defense has been the main problem. The Kings are giving up 126.2 points a night over this five-game skid — the second-worst stretch in the league after the Jazz. On the season they allow 121.2 points per game, the fourth-worst mark in the NBA. To make matters worse, Keegan Murray — one of their better defenders — will be out, which only makes stopping teams harder.

NBA prediction New York Knicks vs Sacramento Kings

Over 228.5 points

With Domantas Sabonis back, Sacramento’s offense looks sharper. The Knicks defend well, but they won’t shy away from a shootout — especially with a full roster and scorers who can erupt. Jalen Brunson and Karl‑Anthony Towns will carry the load, and role players like Landry Shamet and Jordan Clarkson can light it up on any night. Sacramento aren’t defending at the moment and will likely try to answer shot for shot. That’s exactly the kind of game that ends up high-scoring at the Garden.

Quick note on our picks

  • What we publish on Mathodds are analyses, nothing more. It’s an opinion, a snapshot of the moment, not a guarantee. Sport is unpredictable. A red card, an injury, or a freak moment… and the whole script changes.
  • Let’s be clear: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks obvious, it isn’t. Yes, you can lose. You will, at some point.
  • Play smart. Bet small, set a limit and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And whatever you do, don’t chase losses — it never ends well.
  • Betting should be entertainment, not a job or a source of income. If it’s taking over your life, making you stressed or angry, take a break. If you need help, reach out to a specialist organisation. That’s what they’re there for.
  • Ultimately, you’re responsible. Reading our content means you accept the risk is real and won’t vanish, even with the best analysis in the world.
  • Essential reminder: betting is forbidden to minors and must follow your local laws. Gambling can escalate (financial losses, family strain, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.

No liability from us

Our predictions aren’t contracts. They carry no legal weight. In short: you can’t use them to claim anything if a bet fails.

Information can change

A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. Between then and kick-off, a lineup can change, a player can get hurt, weather can take a turn… and the analysis can become obsolete. We can’t be held responsible for that.
