There was no contest. No suspense. No thrill. Just a masterclass. The San Antonio Spurs steamrolled the Philadelphia 76ers 131-91 in a one-sided game from first whistle to final buzzer.
A perfect reply after their 11-game winning streak came to an end.

Harper and Vassell lead the charge
Dylan Harper dropped 22 points with calm, annoying efficiency. Devin Vassell matched him — 22 of his own, including six triples.

San Antonio buried 18 three-pointers, never trailed, and led by nearly 30 at the half. By the end of the third quarter the margin hit 49. Complete humiliation.
All that without Harrison Barnes — his streak of 364 straight games ended by a sore ankle.
Wembanyama managing… still utterly menacing
Victor Wembanyama scored just 10 points. He still owned the game.
Twenty-four minutes. Six blocks. Constant deterrent. The Sixers hesitated attacking the rim, altered lines, looked up too late. Impact isn’t just points.
San Antonio defended, sprinted, shared the ball. Wemby picked his spots. The luxury of a player who knows he controls the match.

Sixers outmatched and shorthanded
For Philadelphia it turned into a nightmare.
Tyrese Maxey finished with 21 points. The team managed just 11 in the third quarter.
Missing: Joel Embiid (oblique), Paul George (suspension) and Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness). Too many holes against a team on the march.
The boos rained down from the stands by halftime. At 60-36 the crowd had already clocked it.
A Rodeo Road Trip under control
The Spurs closed their traditional Rodeo Road Trip with a tidy record. One defeat — to the Knicks — in the middle of a dominant run.
Back to Texas now, next up Detroit on Thursday.
San Antonio didn’t just win. They dictated tempo, tightened defense, imposed an identity. And when Wembanyama can dominate in 24 minutes, it’s rarely good news for the opposition.
