When Kawhi Leonard slips into that rare zone — the one where every shot looks inevitable — there’s usually nothing you can do. The Minnesota Timberwolves found that out the hard way on Wednesday night.
Led by an imperious Kawhi, the Los Angeles Clippers blew the game open and coasted to a 153-128 win. It was a spectacular, fast-paced display, driven by their leader putting on an offensive clinic.

Kawhi Leonard en mode machine
For 31 minutes Kawhi played near-clinical basketball. Every possession felt like a masterclass.
The Clippers’ wing finished with 45 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals — brutally efficient. He hit 15 of 20 from the floor, 6 of 9 from deep and 9 of 10 from the line.
What made it scary was the relentless pace. He had 18 by the end of the first, 28 at the half and 39 heading into the fourth. The outcome was all but decided.

Un duel de stars avec Anthony Edwards
Minnesota didn’t roll over. Anthony Edwards put up a solid night — 36 points, 5 assists — and shot the ball well.
Edwards kept attacking the rim and nailing tough looks, trying to drag his team back into it. For stretches it felt like a straight-up duel between two scorers on fire.
The gap came down to consistency and efficiency. Edwards had to force some shots; Leonard kept finding the right move like it was second nature.
Les Clippers déroulent collectivement
If Kawhi was the headline, the Clippers backed him up in short order.
Los Angeles poured in 153 points — their biggest offensive night of the season — and torched the Nets from deep with 19 made threes.
Bennedict Mathurin chipped in 22 while Darius Garland, new to the lineup, scored 21 and hit a few clutch baskets to keep the lead intact.
Los Angeles retrouve de l’élan
More than anything, this win says the Clippers have some momentum. After a terrible start to the season they’ve steadied the ship and are now above .500.
It’s their third straight win and sixth in seven games. That run drags them back into the fight for the West’s meaningful spots.
And with Kawhi capable of nights like this, very few teams will want to see them in a playoff bracket.
