The Magic are riding the hottest spell of the season. In a game tight right to the wire, Orlando edged the Cleveland Cavaliers 128-122 thanks to a scorching Desmond Bane.
The guard turned in a boss performance — 35 points — and kept his cool when it mattered to secure the Magic’s fifth straight win.

Bane shuts the door in the clutch
In the final seconds Bane showed ice-cold nerves. With Cleveland closing in, Orlando’s guard drained an off-balance three near the sideline with 17 seconds left. A killer shot that gave the Magic breathing room.

Bane iced the win at the free-throw line just seconds later. A perfect finish to a 35-point night.
Banchero runs the show for the Magic
Bane hit the killer shot, but Paolo Banchero delivered a complete performance too.
Orlando’s big finished with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, running the offense all night.
Tristan da Silva also mattered late. The wing poured in 9 of his 23 in the fourth to help Orlando hold off Cleveland’s charge.

Harden and Mitchell keep Cleveland alive
The Cavaliers threw everything at it to steal the win.
James Harden led the charge with 30 points and 8 assists, while Donovan Mitchell added 25. Mitchell even pulled the Cavs within two with a big three in the fourth.

Keon Ellis added to the rally with three late triples. It still wasn’t enough.
Orlando cements its best streak
With the win Orlando notches a fifth straight victory — their best run this season. The Magic are in one of their best phases: offense clicking, the whole unit playing smarter.
For Cleveland, momentum is shakier. The Cavaliers have lost five of their last nine and need to find consistency fast if they want to stay in the hunt.
