Minnesota Timberwolves – Golden State Warriors: Back-to-back revenge
Just over 24 hours after meeting for the second time this season, the Wolves and Warriors collide again in a back-to-back — the third rematch since the 2025 Playoffs. The regular-season series is 1-1, and both teams will be desperate to grab a win that could mean everything down the stretch.
Minnesota Timberwolves: stop the freefall
The Wolves have now gone ten days without a win. That’s rare for a team this consistent — it’s their longest skid of the season. Whether they were edged by top teams like the Rockets (105-110) or Spurs (123-126), or simply got blown off the court like they did yesterday (85-111), Chris Finch’s group are slipping in the Playoff race and their opponents are breathing down their necks — just 1.5 games back.
Even on this run they’re still one of the league’s better teams. Fourth-best offense (119.2) and 11th-best defense (115.0) — they’ve got the tools to beat anyone. Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle should have extra incentive to snap this losing stretch and drag the team back on track.
INJURY REPORT: Terrence Shannon Jr (questionable)
Golden State Warriors: repeat last night’s performance
The Warriors look like they’ve moved past the post-injury adjustment period with an authoritative win over the Wolves yesterday (111-85). Once again their defense did the heavy lifting — they allow just 113.5 points per game, ninth-best in the NBA. Overall they’re rolling, winning 10 of their last 15 outings.
A win tonight would pull Steve Kerr’s side to within a single loss of Minnesota. They’ll still face a pumped-up home team ready to respond, and with a depleted roster they’ll lean heavily on Stephen Curry to ignite the offense.
INJURY REPORT: Jimmy Butler III (OUT) – Jonathan Kuminga (OUT) – De’Anthony Melton (OUT) – Seth Curry (OUT) – Al Horford (OUT)
NBA Prediction Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors
Under 234.5 points
The Wolves will be itching to stop the skid, and that starts with defense. Golden State’s scoring punch is thinner without Butler and Kuminga, which leaves Curry as the lone reliable offensive outlet. That lets Minnesota load up on him, and the Warriors will probably try to grind the pace. Expect a slow, tight game.

First, a word about our predictions
- What we publish on Mathodds are analyses, nothing more. We share an opinion — a snapshot of the moment — not a guarantee. Sport stays unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a goal from nowhere… and the whole script flips.
- Let’s be clear: there’s no risk-free bet. Even when something looks obvious, it often isn’t. Yes, you can lose. It will happen.
- Best practice: stay sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — it rarely ends well.
- Betting should be entertainment, not a job or a source of income. If it’s taking over your life, making you anxious or stressed, stop and seek help. Speak to a specialist if needed.
- Ultimately the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means accepting that risk exists and it won’t disappear, even with the best analysis available.
- Important reminder: betting is forbidden to minors and must follow your local laws. Gambling can spiral into money problems, family tension, addiction. Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No commitments from us
Our predictions aren’t contracts. They have no legal weight. In short: you can’t use them to make a claim if a bet doesn’t pay out.
Information can change
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. Between then and kickoff a lineup can change, a player gets injured, conditions shift… and the analysis can become outdated fast. We can’t be held responsible for that.
