Norman Powell just earned his first All-Star nod, and his teammates can ride a fierce offense — second in the league at 120.0 points per game. It’s tidy, it’s efficient, and it kills defenses. Their almost screen-free system — constant movement and cutting — is clicking under this new-look Heat identity.

Atlanta Hawks: beware the surging Hornets! 
Atlanta’s slipped back into bad habits, dropping consecutive games to the Rockets (86-104) and Pacers (124-129). That four-game win streak already feels like last month — it was five days ago. At 24-27, the Hawks can feel Charlotte breathing down their necks; the Hornets are on a seven-game tear. A win in Miami would buy Atlanta some much-needed breathing room.
Quin Snyder’s group live off their offense, led by newly minted All-Star Jalen Johnson — no fluke, just reward for a standout season.
