Juventus – Cremonese: hit back hard to stay in the race
Still clinging to the top pack, Juventus kick off the second half of their Serie A season by hosting Cremonese. The Bianconeri arrive after a tidy win at Sassuolo, while Cremo let a victory slip through their fingers.
Juventus: an instant reaction and a squad on the move
After stalling against Lecce (1-1), Juve didn’t take long to put things straight. Three days later in Reggio Emilia, Spalletti’s men wrapped it up in under twenty minutes and were never troubled.
Jonathan David, finally off the mark after a long drought, sealed a neat 3-0 — almost therapeutic after his missed penalty against Lecce.
Luciano Spalletti, whose deal runs until the end of the season, has injected tempo and coherence: eight wins in the last ten games, all competitions included.
He talks Scudetto, but the priority is clear: lock down a top-four spot in a Serie A where the fight for Champions League places is brutal.
At home Juve walk with confidence: 13 league matches unbeaten, and a perfect record against Cremonese in Turin. Eight meetings, eight wins, 23 goals scored and only three conceded. Hard to make the case any clearer.
Cremonese: momentum slipping
Cremonese have taken only four points from seventeen meetings with Juventus, and the 2-1 loss in the reverse fixture only confirmed the trend.
But beyond history it’s current form that worries Davide Nicola.
Defeats to Napoli and Torino, a tasteless draw with Lazio, then a 2026 that kicked off with a loss to a struggling Fiorentina… Cremo are sliding.
On Thursday they were 2-0 up against Cagliari thanks to goals from Johnsen and Vardy, yet they ended up with a bitter draw. Another chance blown.
They did end nearly 400 minutes without scoring, but the return is scant: two points from the last five games.
And a persistent problem: no goals in their last three away matches. Trying to overturn Juventus in those conditions is almost impossible.
Probable line-ups
Juventus :
Di Gregorio ; Kalulu, Bremer, Koopmeiners ; McKennie, Locatelli, Thuram, Cambiaso ; Miretti, Yildiz ; David
Cremonese :
Audero ; Terracciano, Baschirotto, Bianchetti ; Zerbin, Payero, Grassi, Vandeputte, Pezzella ; Bonazzoli, Vardy
Key points
- Juventus haven’t lost at home in Serie A for 13 matches.
- Cremonese have never taken a single point in Turin in eight visits.
- The Lombards have picked up two points in their last five games.
- Juve have won eight of their last ten matches across all competitions.

Football Prediction Juventus vs Cremonese
Juventus win and over 1.5 goals
Cremonese have faded after an encouraging start, while Juve have found a dangerous consistency. At home the Bianconeri should logically extend their run against a side that struggles to score away from home.
First, a word on our tips
- What we publish on Mathodds are analyses, nothing more. We offer an opinion, a reading of the moment, not a guarantee. Sport is unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak goal… and the whole script can change.
- Let’s be straight: there’s no bet without risk. Even when something looks “obvious”, it can still go wrong. Yes, that means you can lose. It’s inevitable at some point.
- Be sensible. Stake small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — it almost always ends badly.
- A bet should stay a pastime, not a job or a source of income. If it takes over your life, angers you or puts you under pressure, take a break. If needed, talk to a specialist organisation. That’s what they’re for.
- Ultimately the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means accepting the risk exists and that it won’t vanish, not even with the best analysis.
- Essential reminder: betting is forbidden to minors and must follow your country’s laws. Gambling can spiral out of control (loss of money, family tensions, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No commitment from us
Our predictions aren’t a contract. They have no legal weight. In short: you can’t rely on them to claim anything if a bet loses.
Info can change
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. Between then and kick-off a lineup can change, a player can get injured, the weather can turn… and the analysis can be out of date. We can’t be held responsible for that.
Your role
