Indiana Pacers – Houston Rockets: both streaks on the line
The Pacers host the Rockets for the second and final meeting of the season. Indiana, led by All‑Star Pascal Siakam, faces a Houston side missing Kevin Durant with an ankle issue. Could be the perfect spot to string together three straight — for only the second time this season.
Indiana Pacers: third straight win?
They’re still rock bottom in the East at 13-36, but Indiana’s picked up form — three wins in four. Big scalp: Thunder 117-114, plus tight wins over the Bulls (113-110) and Hawks (129-124). Those results suggest this group can bite.
Truth is they’re flawed across the board: 110.7 points scored (3rd worst), 118.4 allowed (6th worst) and just 43.1 rebounds per game (10th worst). Still, at home with a mostly healthy roster, they can beat anyone on a good night.
INJURY REPORT : Obi Toppin (OUT)
Houston Rockets: keeping pace with the Spurs and Nuggets
The Rockets have won seven of their last nine — exactly the run you need to stay in the West hunt. Under Ime Udoka they’ve knocked off the Spurs (111-106) and Pistons (111-104), teams above them in the table. On paper this trip to Indiana should be routine. In practice? Pacers don’t give freebies.
Houston’s defense is elite — they allow just 109.9 points per game, the 3rd best mark in the league. Offense will miss Kevin Durant, but Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson can fill the scoring gaps.
INJURY REPORT : Steven Adams (OUT) – Kevin Durant (OUT)
NBA Prediction Indiana Pacers vs Houston Rockets
Rockets win by 3 or more
On paper the Rockets are clear favorites against a Pacers side that’s struggled for most of the season. Indiana’s offense has been painfully inconsistent and Houston boasts one of the league’s best defenses. Even without Durant, Udoka’s team should close this out — the defensive edge and overall firepower look too big for the Pacers to pull off a home upset, even if they’ve shown they can spring surprises.

First, a word on our predictions
- What we publish on Mathodds are analyses, not guarantees. It’s one opinion, a snapshot of the moment. Sport is unpredictable: a red card, an injury, a freak play — the whole scenario can flip.
- Let’s be clear: there’s no such thing as a risk‑free bet. Even when something looks “obvious”, it isn’t. Yes, that means you can lose. It will happen at some point.
- Play it sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need for living. And don’t chase losses — that rarely ends well.
- Betting should stay a hobby, not a job or income source. If it’s getting out of hand, taking over your day or making you stressed, stop and take a break. If needed, contact a specialist organization for support.
- In the end, the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means you accept the risk remains — even with the best analysis.
- Essential reminder: betting is prohibited for minors and must follow your country’s laws. Gambling can spiral (financial loss, family tension, addiction). Need help? Players Info Service: 09 74 75 13 13 (standard rate call) https://www.gambleaware.org/.

Info can change
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. Lineups change, a player picks up an injury, conditions shift — and the analysis can become outdated fast. We can’t be held responsible for that.
