Golden State Warriors vs Philadelphia 76ers – Free NBA pick and predictions – February 3, 2026

Golden State Warriors – Philadelphia 76ers: a showdown without the stars?

The Warriors and the 76ers meet for the second and final clash of the season. Philly stole the first one 99-98 at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Golden State wants revenge — even shorthanded.

Golden State Warriors: surviving without Stephen Curry

The Warriors have hit a rough patch since Jimmy Butler’s injury. Steve Kerr’s side have won just two of six games without the forward. To make matters worse, the Dubs will be without Steph Curry — resting a right knee issue for this game. With Curry, Butler and Kuminga out, Golden State has to get creative to score.

Their defense could still carry them. The Warriors rank 10th defensively this season, allowing only 114.0 points per game. When the offense looks lost, defense is the only real chance they’ve got to hang around.

Philadelphia 76ers: extend the back-to-back winning run

Paul George’s 25-game suspension hasn’t fazed Philly. The Sixers are on a four-game winning streak and still dreaming of second place in the East. In January they put up the fifth-best offense in the league, scoring 117.2 points per game. Joel Embiid looks back to full health and Tyrese Maxey has been superb. Put those two together and Philly is a nightmare to stop — especially when the shooters around them are hot from deep.

Defense has been patchier, but January saw the 76ers give up just 114.8 points per game, down from 115.7 for the year. That’s a sign the defense is trending the right way. Against a weakened Warriors team — and on the second night of a back-to-back — the Sixers can add another win and boost their confidence before trips to Los Angeles and Phoenix.

NBA Pick Golden State Warriors vs Philadelphia 76ers

Warriors to score under 110.5 points

The Warriors’ offence is likely to struggle tonight, even without facing one of the league’s stingiest units. Losing Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler III and Jonathan Kuminga is a big scoring hit for Steve Kerr. The guys available aren’t likely to explode for big individual numbers. The only realistic route to a big score is insane shooting night — possible, but unlikely.

First, a word on our picks

  • What we publish on Mathodds are analyses — opinions, not guarantees. We offer a read on the moment. Sport is unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak goal — everything can flip in an instant.
  • Let’s be blunt: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks “obvious”, it’s not. Yes, you can lose. That’s part of it.
  • Be sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And don’t chase losses — it almost never ends well.
  • Betting should be entertainment, not a job or a revenue stream. If it’s taking over your life or causing stress, step away. If you need help, speak to a specialist — that’s what they’re for.
  • Ultimately, the responsibility is yours. Reading our content means you accept the risk remains, even with the best analysis in the world.
  • Important reminder: betting is illegal for minors and must comply with your local laws. Gambling can spiral (money loss, family tension, addiction). Need help? Player Info Service: 09 74 75 13 13 (non-premium call) https://www.gambleaware.org/.

No guarantees from us

Our picks aren’t a contract. They carry no legal weight. In short: you can’t rely on them to claim anything if a bet loses.

Info can change

A pick is based on what we know when we write it. Between then and tip-off a lineup can change, a player can get hurt, conditions can shift — and the analysis can become outdated. We can’t be held responsible for that.

Your role
