Still, this group has grit. They broke a nasty three-game skid by taking down Dallas 137-131 in a proper scrap.
Without No. 30, the team has leaned on the unit. Against the Mavs Moses Moody blew up for 23, backed by new interior piece Kristaps Porzingis (22), who adds a different layer to their attack. The DNA hasn’t changed: even without the greatest shooter in history, Golden State will keep firing from deep at any chance. They’re averaging 115.8 points a game — the offense keeps finding answers, especially against soft defenses.
Brooklyn Nets: full-on tank job 
In Brooklyn they don’t even pretend otherwise. The franchise is rebuilding and riding an ugly eight-game losing streak. Upstairs, that’s probably music to some ears: every loss inches them toward a premium draft pick. On the court, the roster is full of young players hungry for the ball and desperate to pad the box score.
The offense can stutter (106.9 points per game), mostly from inconsistency. They’ll put on fireworks — remember the 122-126 game with Sacramento — and they’ll also fold badly, like the 99-134 collapse against Portland. Against Golden State they won’t have the personnel to lock things down: they’ll run, take quick shots and try to create chaos.

With the tempo set to manic, a 212.5 total from the bookies looks absurdly low. We’re on the Over, no hesitation.
