Denver Nuggets – Los Angeles Clippers: Rematch of the 2025 Playoffs
The Nuggets and Clippers meet for the second time this season after that epic first-round playoff series a few months ago, which Denver won. A lot has changed since: Nikola Jokic is injured along with three other Nuggets starters, while the Clippers are riding a serious comeback. All the ingredients are in place for a proper regular-season clash.
Denver Nuggets: second-to-last game of the homestand
Still without Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Christian Braun and Cam Johnson, the Nuggets are doing what they can — and they aren’t folding. Jamal Murray fluffed a couple of clutch free throws that might have flipped a narrow loss to the Pistons (107-109), but Denver still sit third in the West, right on the Spurs’ heels.
This team lives by its offence. Even though they haven’t topped 110 in their last four games (three wins), Denver still run the league’s second-best attack (120.1 points per game) without Jokic — a notable feat that shows bench players stepping up and David Adelman’s coaching doing the heavy lifting.
INJURY REPORT : Nikola Jokic (OUT) – Cam Johnson (OUT) – Aaron Gordon (OUT) – Christian Braun (OUT)
Los Angeles Clippers: finally ninth?
Since December 20 the Clippers have been the league’s form team: 16 wins in their last 19. The days when everyone thought OKC would end up with a high draft pick feel miles away. Ty Lue’s side have weathered injuries — Kawhi Leonard and Derrick Jones Jr have missed time — but the roster has answered when it mattered, with James Harden leading and youngsters Jordan Miller and Kobe Sanders pitching in.
They win games with defence: 112.8 points allowed per game, ninth-best overall. Since December 20 that number falls to 106.7, the second-best mark over that stretch. With Kawhi and Harden operating at All-Star level, the Clippers can shut teams down and then take care of business on offence.
INJURY REPORT : Bogdan Bogdanovic (OUT) – Derrick Jones Jr (OUT) – Kawhi Leonard (questionable)
NBA Prediction Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Clippers
Over 206.5 points
Despite a slight dip lately, the Nuggets remain one of the league’s top offences even without Jokic. The Clippers can score too — just look at the 126-89 demolition of the Nets. A 207-point total looks low; even in a tighter game these two teams can clear it.

First, a word on our predictions
- What we publish on Mathodds are analyses, nothing more. We give an opinion, a read of the moment, not a guarantee. Sport is unpredictable: a red card, an injury, a freak goal — and the whole script changes.
- Let’s be clear: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when it looks “obvious”, it rarely is. Yes, you can lose. It’s inevitable at some point.
- Best advice: be sensible. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And whatever you do, don’t chase losses — it rarely ends well.
- Betting should stay a hobby, not a job or source of income. If it’s taking over your life, making you stressed or angry, take a break. If needed, contact a specialist support service — that’s what they’re for.
- At the end of the day, you’re responsible. Reading our content means accepting the risk exists and won’t disappear, even with the best analysis.
- Key reminder: betting is forbidden for minors and must follow your country’s laws. Gambling can spiral (money losses, family tensions, addiction). Need Help? Call 1-800-GAMBLER. In the UK? Visit https://www.gambleaware.org/https://www.gambleaware.org/.
No guarantees from us
Our predictions aren’t a contract. They carry no legal weight. Plain and simple: you can’t sue us if a bet loses.
Information can change
A prediction is based on what we know when we write it. But lineups shift (see the Nuggets), a player can get hurt, weather can turn — and the analysis can become outdated fast. We can’t be held liable for that.
