Denver Nuggets – Detroit Pistons: top-table clash… sort of
The Nuggets host the Pistons in Colorado for their yearly meeting. Both clubs are among only four teams with 30+ wins, so this should be worth watching — even if Denver’s injury list might hand the visitors the upper hand.
Denver Nuggets: hunting 2nd place
After three days off — their game with the Grizzlies was postponed because of the weather — Denver turns up with four of five starters available. That means Jamal Murray will carry most of the scoring load while the role players try to fill the Jokic-shaped hole. The Nuggets are on a two-game streak, edging the Wizards 107-97 and the Bucks 102-100.
Against Detroit’s stingy defense, David Adelman’s offense must click. Denver still average 120.7 points, good for the league’s second-best attack even without one of the game’s great scorers — not bad. Defensively they’re shakier, allowing 116.2 points per game, which ranks 17th.

Detroit Pistons: team of the moment?
Topped the nba.com power rankings recently, and for good reason. The Pistons have five wins in six and are leading the Eastern Conference with swagger. Blowouts like 139-116 over the Kings and 121-78 over the Pacers were statements. Tight wins over the Celtics (104-103) and Suns (109-105) were message-senders. They beat the weak teams and grind out the close ones against rivals.
Detroit’s real calling card is defense. They allow just 110.1 points per game, second only to the Thunder — usually a very good sign. Losing Caris LeVert won’t wreck that. Against a Nuggets lineup that likely funnels everything through Murray, a big defensive night — especially on the ball — gives Detroit a very good shot at the W.
INJURY REPORT : Caris LeVert (OUT)
NBA Pick Denver Nuggets vs Detroit Pistons
Pistons to win by 5+ points
The Nuggets have coped since Jokic went down, helped by a forgiving schedule. The Pistons are one of the league’s best right now, and on paper they have more firepower and a stronger defense. Even on the road, in a tough building, Detroit should have enough to pull away for a fairly comfortable win.

First, a word on our picks
- What we publish on Mathodds is analysis and opinion, not a promise. We give a read on the moment, never a guarantee. Sport is unpredictable. A red card, an injury, a freak play — everything can flip.
- Let’s be blunt: there’s no risk-free bet. Even when something looks “obvious”, it rarely is. Yes, you can lose. You will, at some point.
- Be sensible. Bet small, set a budget, and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need for bills. Don’t chase losses — it rarely ends well.
- Betting should be entertainment, not a job or a payday. If it’s taking over your life or causing stress, step away. Talk to a specialist if you need to.
- At the end of the day, responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means you accept that risk exists and it won’t disappear, even with the best analysis.
- Important reminder: betting is forbidden to minors and must follow your local laws. Gambling can spiral (money loss, family tensions, addiction). Need help? Players Info Service: 09 74 75 13 13 (standard-rate call) https://www.gambleaware.org/.
