Denver Nuggets – Brooklyn Nets: MPJ back in Denver
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the Nuggets and the Nets. For Michael Porter Jr it’s his first trip back to Denver in a different shirt after seven seasons in Colorado. Big night for him personally — but on paper it’s not great news for his side.
Denver Nuggets: need to bounce back at home
The Nuggets have two wins in their last three games — it would have been three if Jamal Murray had buried his free throws late against the Pistons (107-109). The wins over the Wizards (107-97) and Bucks (102-100) were the kind you have to take. Denver will want another one to keep pressure on the Spurs.
Offense is still their calling card, even without Nikola Jokic for almost a month. Scoring 120.2 points per game puts them second only to Oklahoma City — impressive without your MVP. The ball moves (28.0 assists per game, 9th) and role players with limited minutes are stepping up and taking responsibility.
INJURY REPORT : Nikola Jokic (OUT) – Christian Braun (OUT) – Cam Johnson (OUT) – Aaron Gordon (OUT) – Jonas Valanciunas (probable) – Jamal Murray (probable)
Brooklyn Nets: avoid a collapse
Since beating Denver in early January (127-115), the Nets have lost 11 of 12. In 2026 Jordi Fernandez’s team is 2-13. A side that once had Play-In hopes is sliding fast — now trading blows with the Pacers and Wizards for the East’s worst record.
Offensively they’ve been woeful, obvious in losses to the Suns (102-106) and Clippers (89-126). They average just 107.8 points per game — the NBA’s low mark this year. Their defense, once a strength, is coming apart too: 130 allowed to Boston, 126 to Phoenix, 124 to Chicago. When you only put up ~108 points, you’re not winning many nights.
INJURY REPORT : Noah Clowney (OUT) – Cam Thomas (OUT) – Egor Demin (OUT) – Ziaire Williams (OUT) – Terance Mann (questionable)
NBA Prediction Denver Nuggets vs Brooklyn Nets
Nuggets to score over 106.5 points
The Nuggets are at home against a Nets side in full freefall. Hitting 107 or more isn’t asking much given Denver’s offense, and Brooklyn’s defense is crumbling. Colorado should clear this line without breaking sweat.

First, a word on our picks
- What we publish on Mathodds is analysis, nothing more. It’s an opinion — a reading of the moment, not a promise. Sport is unpredictable: a red card, an injury, a freak play and the script flips.
- Let’s be clear: there’s no such thing as a risk-free bet. Even when something looks obvious, it isn’t. Yes, you can lose. It will happen.
- Play smart. Bet small, set a budget and stick to it. Don’t touch money you need to live on. And whatever you do, don’t chase losses.
- Betting should stay a hobby, not a job or income. If it’s taking over your life or making you anxious, step away and get help if needed.
- Bottom line: responsibility lies with you. Reading our content means you accept the risk — it doesn’t disappear because the analysis looks good.
- Important reminder: betting is prohibited for minors and must comply with your local laws. Gambling can spiral (lost money, family tension, addiction). Need help? Players Info Service: 09 74 75 13 13 (non-premium) https://www.gambleaware.org/.
