Bayern keeps rolling
When Bayern hits top gear, the rest can’t hang. Friday at the Allianz Arena proved it once more.
Against a Borussia Mönchengladbach side stuck in mid-table, the Bavarians simply rolled through and won 4-1. Clean, controlled and hugely valuable in the title race.
Now more than ten points clear of Borussia Dortmund, Bayern are stretching the gap. At this rate the Bundesliga is turning into a one-way march to another crown.

Luis Díaz sets Bayern alight
It took about half an hour for the game to flip.
As often lately, Luis Díaz supplied the spark. In the 33rd minute the Colombian winger opened the scoring and cracked a match that had been tight.

But Díaz didn’t stop there.
Just before the break he picked out Konrad Laimer with a perfectly timed assist, and Laimer doubled the lead in the 45th minute. In a few minutes Bayern were off, and Gladbach had no answer.
A tidy, efficient first half — classic Bayern.
Musiala buries it, Jackson seals it
After the interval a hush fell when Manuel Neuer limped off with an injury.
Even that setback didn’t slow the Munich machine.
When Gladbach were reduced to ten men, Bayern kept the pressure on. Jamal Musiala stepped up and converted a penalty in the 57th minute to make it 3-0.
The game was effectively over.
Late on, Jackson added a fourth to seal the night for Bayern. Gladbach grabbed a late consolation, but the damage was done.
Bayern at full throttle before the Champions League
More than the score, it’s the control that rattles you. Bayern dominate matches, punish mistakes and rarely let doubt creep in.
The win cements Tuchel’s side at the top and pushes their lead further in the title chase.
But eyes are already on Europe.
After a quiet Bundesliga night, Bayern must switch gears quickly for a boiling trip to Atalanta in the Champions League.
Given their form, they’ll arrive primed.
