Atlanta Falcons – Los Angeles Rams: a tricky MNF for the Rams? 
The Week 17 finale pits Atlanta against the Los Angeles Rams in what looks one-sided on paper. Still, late-season NFL games often hide more wrinkles than you’d think. The Rams roll into Georgia labeled heavy favorites, but a few facts need checking before you jump to conclusions.
Atlanta Falcons: solid but scenario-dependent 
Atlanta, meanwhile, found its smile again with a 26-19 win at Arizona. A victory built on patience, balance and smart use of its strengths.
Kirk Cousins managed the game without dazzling, but with efficiency. He made the difference at the right moments, especially in the second half, and added a rushing touchdown. The real X-factor, though, remains Bijan Robinson.
The running back once again showed his versatility: dangerous on the ground, valuable in the passing game, and able to swing a play by himself. Tyler Allgeier also brought physical continuity, letting the Falcons stick to their game plan.
That said, this setup works mainly while the score’s tight. Once Atlanta has to chase, the limits show up fast — especially against attacks that can burst into life.
Los Angeles Rams: an offense firing on all cylinders 
The overtime loss to Seattle (38-37) left a bitter taste, but it didn’t dent the Rams’ offensive momentum. Despite the cruel result, the performance was strong — especially through the air.
Matthew Stafford delivered one of his best games of the season with 457 passing yards and three touchdowns, no interceptions. The offense moved on almost every possession, but the failure to finish earlier and a few defensive lapses kept the Seahawks alive.
The sore spot was the run defense. Seattle posed a real physical test, piling up 171 rushing yards, including a 55-yard breakaway by Kenneth Walker III. That’s something the staff will need to fix before this trip.
Individually, Puka Nacua remains the engine of this offense. He was heavily involved, central to the game plan with key targets at crucial moments. Even without eye-popping numbers, his effect on the offense’s rhythm and structure is clear.
