Osasuna’s strength at home 
Boss Alessio Lisci has built his side on rock-solid home form. They’ve banked twenty-eight points from fourteen competitive games on their own patch. Recent wins over Girona and Alavés have lifted the mood. Osasuna are sitting ninth in La Liga right now. A win and they’re right back in the frame for Europe. Still, the recent record against Real Betis is a pain. The Rojillos haven’t beaten this lot since April 2023.
Real Betis need a spark 
Manuel Pellegrini is hunting badly for a lift. Real Betis haven’t won in the league since February. They’ve been stacking up frustrating draws instead. Even so, they still sit fifth in the country. European fatigue is starting to show in their legs. They come into this off a draw with Braga in the Europa League. Pellegrini’s handling of the squad will matter here. Betis have already drawn twelve league games, which says plenty. Their strong historical record against Osasuna will comfort the travelling fans, though. The aim is simple: protect that European place.
