Griezmann bound for Florida
Antoine Griezmann is on his way out. The France striker will leave Atlético Madrid and is set to join Orlando City next summer. Marca and AFP say he’s reached a verbal agreement with the MLS side — a two-year deal. He’ll use the international break to sort the paperwork; Atlético have cleared him to travel to the United States. The transfer should be wrapped up in the coming days after weeks of talks. Orlando hold discovery rights on Griezmann, which gives them first priority in MLS. Atlético refused an immediate exit earlier this month.
High demands in Turin
Luciano Spalletti is laying down the law. The coach is negotiating a contract extension with Juventus and wants sporting guarantees from the board. Tuttosport outlines his plan: he wants an ambitious summer rebuild — players who can step in and perform at the highest level straight away. How much Juve can spend will depend on results; the club must secure Champions League qualification to meet his demands.
Lewandowski weighing up his options
Robert Lewandowski is playing it cool. His contract at Barcelona is up and he’s assessing his next move. Fabrizio Romano says Barça have offered a short-term extension, but the striker also has several offers from abroad. He’ll make his final decision very soon.
